– some smooth rocks/pebbles (scrubbed clean and dried)
– paintbrushes
– paints (ideally acrylic)
– spray varnish (as a final coat, if your finished rocks will live outside)

– a rectangular mint tin (Altoids in US/M&S in the UK)
