Cheese Cigars




Ingredients

2 phyllo pastry sheets
1 sachet Knorr Regular coating Mix

2 eggs, lightly beaten
125g feta cheese
1 tbsp chopped parsley
1 tbsp chopped fresh mint
2 green spring onions finely chopped
1 tsp crushed dry red pepper (optional)
Oil for frying

DIRECTIONS

- In a small bowl, mix feta cheese, parsley, fresh mint, spring onions and red pepper then keep aside.
- Cup phyllo sheets into 8 identical small sheets then place 1 full tsp of cheese filling the wider end of each sheet roll tightly.
- Dip each cheese roll into beaten egg then into coating mix.
- Heat oil into deep frying pan, fry the cheese rolls until golden brown.
